Hatch a plan to eggineer a creative contraption to protect an egg from a 70-foot plus drop from the roof of McWane Science Center! We wouldn’t want you to get egg on your face when we put your contraption to the test during the Great McWane Egg Drop!
Are you ready to whisk it? Will your egg survive, or will your contraption not be all that it is cracked up to be? Put your contraption to the test during the first egg drop of the day. The top 3 survivors will take home the Golden Egg Trophy. If you didn’t get a chance to put all your eggs in this basket, you can still watch the outcome of this eggstreme challenge!

1. The inaugural season of the USFL kicks off April 16 at Protective Stadium and you can secure tickets now to see this historic clash between the New Jersey Generals and Birmingham Stallions.
Tickets are just $10 for adults, and each ticketed adult can receive up to three free tickets for children under the age of 15.
On April 17, the USFL will feature a tripleheader for opening weekend — the Houston Gamblers at Michigan Panthers at noon ET, the Philadelphia Stars at New Orleans Breakers at 4 p.m. and the Tampa Bay Bandits at Pittsburgh Maulers at 8 p.m. ET — and one ticket will admit fans to all three games.
All games will be played in Birmingham for the inaugural season.
